Hey, I love your podcast. Its great to hear the opinions of people who fell in love with Simpsons at the same time I did. Although I don’t agree with all of your opinions, there are some moments that I loved even though you hate them. I mean come on! A diving horse! That’s so ridiculous it actually made me laugh. More than anything, you made me love the older episodes even more which is what I think the point of your podcast is.
Just a little commentary, I kinda noticed that TV in general doesn’t age as well with the transition into the age of the internet and cellphones. As technology grew to everyone having a computer in their home and every 9 year old carrying a iPhone, the phrase “they have internet on computers now” to me reflects how the Simpsons stayed classic before the internet became engrained in everyone we do and into the lives of the Simpsons themselves. Their commentary used to be concepts that are timeless.
My least favorite Simpsons moment is from Season 19 “Marge Krumpin’.” I saw this and thought to myself. What the hell is going on? What am I watching?
